Teton has a long history conducting searches in the Non-profit sector. We believe that there should be a part of our practice that helps organizations which are dedicated to: improving life for the disadvantaged or chronically ill; finding ways to protect our environment; focusing on ways to improve society and the way in which we live.
Our list of assignments is focused principally on searches at the Executive Director and President level. In conducting these searches we have built extensive contacts in a number of sectors of the non-profit field such as social services, chemical dependency and the conservation and environmental field. We have been successful in drawing on these contacts which include many names of individuals who serve on the Boards of these organizations and who have watched first hand as capable individuals build staffs, raise money from a wide range of donors, and serve as the spokesperson not only at local levels but also on the national stage.
We also are in regular touch with some of the individuals who are moving up in their organizations, are ready to take on the number one job and in some cases may be blocked and would be receptive to leaving for an Executive Director level position in another non-profit. Additionally, we talk continually with individuals from both private and public sectors who have reached a point in their business lives when they would like to change direction, join a non-profit and “give something back”.
Some of our Non-Profit search assignments include the following:
Environmental Defense Fund - Executive Director
Boys Club of New York - Executive Director

New York Mission Society - Executive Director
World Resources Institute - Executive Director
